Leistung can mean achievement, performance, or output, depending on the context. It’s commonly used in:

There’s also the idea of getting credit or payment:

A common learner mistake is to assume Leistung always refers to a performance on stage — but for that, Germans usually say Aufführung. Leistung is broader — it's about what you deliver, accomplish, or contribute.
