The questions in this test will vary in difficulty depending on how you answer - as does its length, as it precislely narrows down your German level with each passing question.

One important thing to keep in mind here is that this Deutsch Einstufungstest will give you your suggested "course level" - because it is a German language placement test. That means that the primary function is to tell you what German class is best for your level of German proficiency.

So, in other words, if this Deutsch Einstufungstest tells you that your suggested German course level is B1.1, then you should sign up for a German class labelled B1.1. Your actual German proficiency level would be A2.2 (i.e. the German proficiency level right below level B1.1).
